We are looking for an angel investor or a team of angels to join the Table 20 team and help support the Los Angeles marketing push.
We’ve put together a formal business plan covering off on all the details: the objectives, management team, marketing plan, financial projections and secret sauce.
The minimum investment is $2,000, we’d prefer those that have hospitality experience and some industry connections.
Interested? Send me a message at invest@table20.com and we’ll take it from there.

I’m on a mission to provide a service that helps restaurant industry people more easily find jobs. I’ve been working on this web application for 5 years. In that time the process for getting a job has only gotten more splintered and complicated. Have you tried Craigslist lately? Yikes!
We’re like a long pour Guinness - we’re going to taste better because we took our time.
More to come!

Final Touches
November 14th, 2008We’re in the final phase of launch preparation. It’s been a long development cycle, but we are nearing the end. Exciting time for me and my team.
I think we really have something that restaurant employers and job seekers will find very useful. Time to rev up the publicity and marketing machine.
Stay tuned!
Table 20 Job Board Development Update
January 26th, 2008The website application (www.table20.com) that is the reason for this blog is almost ready for its debut.
It’s been a long three year process hampered by lack of resources, cash and time. Then one year ago I began working with an incredible developer, ran into some unexpected cash and I made the time to focus on the details of this application.
The devil is in the details and there are an insane number of details involved in creating a user centric web application for restaurant job seekers and hiring managers. An elegant application that I believe users will find much value in using.
What began as a fairly standard job board application has completely transformed into something new and different.
I’ve taken a few risks and made a lot decisions about the site’s functionality and operation based on hunches and my past experiences as a job seeker, restaurant manager and interactive project manager.
I think you’ll appreciate the effort.
Stay tuned.
The Table 20 Blog - “Hello World”
March 24th, 2007Hey folks my name is a Trevor Smith. I’ve worked for many years as a server, bartender and manager. The thing I’ve always loved about our industry is the people. No matter the job - good or bad - I’ve always loved the people and the culture. There is no other group more tight knit, authentic and creative.
The Table 20 blog is a place for bar & restaurant folks (foh, boh, mgmt) to share experiences, issues & service tips. I envision Table 20 Talk as an extension of our unique community.
I invite you to submit your ideas, shift stories, photos, cool links, service tips, job hunting advice and whatever you think your fellow worker might benefit from.
I’m also in search of a few regular writers/bloggers for the site - so let me know.
This is going to be a good time!
